Conveniently located on the Mystic River in Charlestown, Mystic River Cabinetry was born in 2025 as a separate sister company to McGowan Custom Builders, a residential builder and remodeling company based in Charlestown, MA. Mystic River Cabinetry can handle the design, sale as well as installation of cabinetry to anywhere in the Greater Boston area and beyond. Our office is located in Charlestown where we can walk our clients through samples, options and the entire design process. (By appointment only)
Design
Using our 20/20 kitchen and bath design software, we work hand in hand with you and/or your interior designer to design beautiful and functional cabinetry within your space. We also have the ability to provide renderings of your space including adjacent finishes and fixtures such as countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, tile, appliances and furniture.
Sales
We are a dealer for both the Cabico Custom Cabinetry and Essence by Cabico semi-custom lines. The Cabico line offers far more customization. The Essence line provides less options and customization but at a lower price point and with shorter lead times.
Installation
When it comes to the installation of their cabinetry , owners can hire a general contractor themselves. They can hire us to oversee the General Contractor and act as an Owner’s Rep throughout the renovation project on a hourly consultant basis. Or, depending on the location of the project and its proximity to Charlestown, our sister company, McGowan Custom Builders, can provide a proposal to provide General Contracting services on the project.
